PRINCESS Superal defeated Cindy Ha of New Jersey, 2 up, to reach the finals of the US Girls' Junior Championship on Friday at Forest Highlands' Meadow Course in Flagstaff, Arizona (Saturday, Manila time).
The 17-year-old Filipina shotmaker downed Bethany Wu of Diamond Bar, California, in 19 holes in the quarterfinals.
Winner of numerous tournaments including the Jakarta Junior World Championship just last month, Superal disputes the title with three-time Women's Mexican Amateur champion Marijosse Navarro.
Navarro, also 17, beat Australia's Shelly Shin in 21 holes after winning 1 up over Andrea Lee of California in the quarterfinals.
Navarro was sixth this year for Texas A&M in the NCAA tournament.
