Del Rosario nearly made an albatross on the par-5 No. 14 off a solid second shot for a tap-in eagle, birdied the par-4 16th from six feet, and came through with an exceptional blast and a gutsy putt for par on No. 17.
Superal made gutsy pars at the backnine then birdied No. 14 and parred the next.
Defending champion Korea, winner of seven of the last eight editions of the event, actually holds a 140 score with top player Jang Eun Soo still to complete play.
Japan had a 149 with No. 1 Minami Hiruta still has three holes left to play.
