It was the only round in the 60s for the shotmaker from Bacolod, who struggled with earlier scores of 73-71-71.
He wound up 14 shots behind winner Jung-Gon Hwang, who had a sizzling 66 on the Kochi Kuroshio Country Club for a 19-under 269 total.
The Korean won by three strokes over Kunihiro Kamii, who had a final-round 68.
Yoshinori Fujimoto (67), Kenichi Kuboya (69) and Kyung Tae-Kim (70) ended up in joint third at 14 under.
