NOAH Goodwin of the US and Min Woo Lee of Australia set up a title showdown in the 2016 US Junior Amateur Championship in Ooltewah, Tennessee.
Sixteen-year-old Goodwin defeated edged John Pak, 17, in a 20-holes semifinal battle on Friday at The Honors Course (Saturday, Manila time).
Lee, 17, winner of last year’s Western Australia Amateur, downed Eugene Hong of Florida, 1 up.
Lee is the brother of Minjee Lee, winner of the 2012 US Girls' Junior and two LPGA Tour titles.
"Absolutely incredible. Everything I've been grinding toward every single day, it's been to get to the finals here this week," said Goodwin.
Second-seed Eugene Hong stopped the run of Cebu’s Weiwei Gao in the quarterfinals, 1 up.
Hong played steady after falling behind, hitting birdie on No. 15 to square the match and making another birdie on 16th to take the lead as Gao suffered a bogey.
Gao went 2-up early with birdies on Nos. 4 and 6, but Hong easily had back-to-back birdies on the eighth and ninth.
A see-saw battle ensued before Gao took a slim lead with birdie on No. 13.
