Tony Lascuña, Clyde Mondilla head cast as Forest Hills hosts PGT event for first time in six years

TONY Lascuña and Clyde Mondilla head the cast when the ICTSI Philippine Golf Tour goes to Forest Hills Golf and Country Club in Antipolo, Rizal this week.

Winners of two tournaments each this season, Lascuna and Mondilla are the top favorites as Forest Hills hosts a PGT leg for the first time in six years.

Action starts on Wednesday.

Mondilla is coming off a three-week rest following a joint fourth finish at Eagle Ridge Invitational, while Lascuña finished 15th in last the Queen’s Cup in Thailand on Sunday.

The 46-year-old Lascuña won at Eagle Ridge after topping Luisita.

Mondilla won back-to-back tournaments, ruling the Eastridge and dominating Calatagan.

Also vying for the top prize of P360,000 are Jobim Carlos, Jay Bayron, Jhonnel Ababa, Jerson Balasabas, Jun Bernis, Michael Bibat, Cassius Casas, Marvin Dumandan, Mhark Fernando, Zanieboy Gialon, Charles Hong, Benjie Magada, Rey Pagunsan, Mars Pucay, Justin Quiban, Micah Shin, Elmer Salvador and Orlan Sumcad.

Frankie Miñoza, Dutchman Guido Van der Valk, Japan’s Yuta Sudo and Koichi Minami, Korea’s Charlie Chang, Song Hyup Hong, Kim Chang Yeon, Thomas Kim, Brian Kim, Park Chan Jung, Park Jun Song and Park Min Ung and Chris Oetinger of the US are also seeing action in the tournament sponsored by ICTSI, organized by Pilipinas Golf Tournaments, Inc., and backed by Custom Clubmakers, adidas, KZG, Summit Mineral Water, Srixon, Pacsports, TaylorMade, Sharp and Champion
