THE Golden State Warriors have just set a new record, but what Steph Curry and Andre Iguodala were celebrating on Tuesday was a feat made almost a year ago.

Steph Curry and Andre Iguodala were treated to a round of golf at Augusta National by Warriors coach Steve Kerr on Tuesday (Wednesday, Manila time), according to ESPN.

But it was an incentive not for helping the team become the quickest to score 50 wins in NBA history, or even the league-best 24-0 start to the season.

The Warriors had a day off after downing the Hawks to hike their reord to 50-5.

Kerr reportedly arranged the round in one of the most exclusive golf courses in the world and home to the Masters to fulfill a pledge made before they claimed the NBA title last season.

The two are avid golfers, Curry with a 2 handicap and Iguodala at 17.

They were joined by team executive and NBA legend Jerry West.
