Fifth Purple Tower Tee golf tournament set at Valley Golf and Country Club

THE 5th Purple Tower Tee tees off on Friday at the South Course of Valley Golf and Country Club in Antipolo.

The event is being held to raise funds for UP Beta Epsilon’s scholarship programs and its university projects.

The tournament will have three divisions using the Unified National Handicapping System and a special division that will use System 36.

The open tournament is co-presented by the Aboitiz Group, ABoitizPOwer, AP Renewables Inc, SN Aboitiz Power, and Hedcor Inc, with BE Batch 75C, Metro Pacific Investments Corp., Smart Communications and DATEM Inc. as major sponsors.

There will also be a team competition for groups of five players each in the tournament backed by All To Customs Brokerage, AMH, BE Batch 79, Bio 101 Construction, Bridgestone Tires, DCCD Engg, DCPI, EMS, Energy Factors, Ford Libis, Globe Telecom, Graptek, Ideal Marketing, Lion Laminated, Mad Mark's Creamery and Good Eats, Maynilad Water, MES Construction, Bear Brand Adult Plus, NGCP, OStrea Laboratories, Production Synergy Boosters/Masinag Organic Fertilizers, Quad Am Systems, Toyo Adtec, UCPB Gen, Glenlivet, SGS Phils, Gatorade, Carlos Berba, Mikey Villanueva, Deni Cuayo/Jojo Malolos of BE 82, Svenson, and Toby's Sports.

Registration starts at 6 a.m. and tee-off will be two hours later. Registration fee is P2,500 inclusive of a buffet lunch with drink-all-you-can wine, beer courtesy of San Miguel Beer and single match Scotch courtesy of Pernod Ricard. Registration fee for Valley Golf members is P1,500.
