Princess Superal, Mia Piccio still on track but far from safety after second round of LPGA Qualifying Stage II
Princess Superal comes up with a 74 after an opening 73.

PRINCESS Superal and Mia Piccio remain on track for the final stage although both are far from safety after two rounds of the second stage of LPGA Qualfying on Friday in Venice, Florida (Saturday, Manila time).

Superal added a 74 to her opening-round 73 and was in 62nd spot at 147.

Mia Piccio was also at three over, slipping with a 76 after a solid 71 on the first day.

Regan de Guzman of San Jose State added a 76 to her opening 73 and was in a big group tied for 79th at 5-over.

The top 80 and ties after Sunday’s final-round advance to Final Stage set November 30 to December 4 at LPGA International in Daytona Beach. 

Maia Schechter of North Carolina is on top after 36 holes, firing a second straight 68 for an 8-under 136 total.

Marianne Skarpnord of Norway is in second at 7-under 137 after a 68.

Leona Maguire fired a 67 to gain a share of third at 5-under 139 with Bronte Law, who carded a 70.
