Jamie Donaldson tops Thailand Championship by three as Juvic Pagunsan winds up in joint 24th
Juvic Pagunsan fires a closing 72 for a five-under 283 total. 

JAMIE Donaldson fired the day’s best 65 for a three-stroke victory on Sunday in the Thailand Golf Championship at the Amata Spring Country Club in Chonburi.

The Welshman fired nine birdies and two bogeys and finished at 21-under 267.

Lee Westwood had a closing 67 and wound up at 270, tied with Clement Sordet, who shot a 70.

World No. 12 Sergio Garcia was tied for fourth at 14-under after a final-round 16, while Koraea’s Byeonghun An had a closing 70 for a 274 aggregate.

Juvic Pagunsan was the best-placed Filipino at joint 24th after a closing 72 for a five-under 283.

Angelo Que had a final-round 69 and wound up in a large group in 30th, at four-under 284, that included former Open champion Darren Clarke, who closed with a 75.

Tony Lascuna had a 72 for a two-under 286 and a share of 44th.
