Harmie Constantino eyes second straight title as Philippine Junior Am fires off at Sherwood
Harmie Constantino looks to add to the title she won at Canlubag two months ago.

HARMIE Constantino goes for a second straight title as the Philippine Junior Amateur Golf Championship starts on Tuesday at Sherwood Hills Golf Club in Trece Martires, Cavite.

Constantino ruled the WExpress RVF Cup in Canlubang in February.

Filipino and Korean shotmakers will be out to foil her bid for back-to-back, including Cebu’s Weifang Gao and Junia Gabasa, Nicole Abelar, Sofia Legaspi, Monica Mandario and Kayla Nocum.

Laure Duque is also in the 17-and-under division, along with Koreans Rho Hyun Ji, Kwon Taeyon, Jang Yun Ji and Kim Seo Young.

Heading the field in the boys’ side of the in the 72-hole championship organized by the National Golf Association of the Philippines are Paolo Wong, Luis Castro, Carl Corpus, Weiyu Gao, David Guangko and Miguel Ilas.

Others competing are Cedric Aunzo, Perry Bucay, Santino Diokno, Joaquin Gomez, Liam Harvey, Riggs Illescas, Francis Lanuza, Juan Laurel, James Luguban, Jermaine Melosantos, Masaichi Otake, Sean Ramos, Kristoff Soliven, siblings Delfin and Bernard Trinos and Japanese Gettykane Nakamura.

Also on tap are the Special Divisions for 18-years-old-and-above to be played over four rounds and 12-years-old-and-below set over 54 holes.

Heading the 18-U field are Aniceto Mandanas, Aldo Barro, Korean Sung Yeon Soo and Daniella Ubasa, while Mikhaella Constantino, Kwon Min Seo, Jeong Yeaheun, Jae Hyun Jung, Jeff Jung and Zach Blanco banner the 12-U roster in the PLDT Group National Amateur Golf Tour event.
