Pressure on after record win as Bianca Pagdangangan defends title in Philippine Ladies Open at Orchard
All eyes will be on Bianca Pagdanganan, winer by nine last year.

BIANCA Pagdanganan looks to defend the title as the Champion Infinity Philippine Ladies Amateur Open 2018 fires off Jan. 10 at the Palmer Course of The Orchard Golf and Country Club in Dasmarinas, Cavite.

Pagdanganan scored a nine-stroke victory with a Philippine Ladies Open record 16-under 200 total at Wack Wack’s West course last year.

The Gonzaga University looks to retain the title as she battles a field featuring some of the best players from Taiwan, Singapore and Japan and a local crew led by Yuka Saso and Harmie Constantino.

Focus will also be on Sam Bruce, Tomi Arejola, Nicole Abelar, Kristine Torralba, Sophia Legaspi, Felicia Medalla, Annika Cedo and Junia Gabasa along with Mikha Fortuna, Sam Dizon, Laia Barro and Rafaella Singson of Team The Country Club.

Looking to steal the show from the home bets are Onkanok Soisuwan, Pimkwan Chookaew, Kultida Pramphun, Phannarai Meesom-Us and Pinkaew Trachuentong of Thailand, Shannon Tan, Callista Chen and Hailey Loy of Singapore, and Japan’s Chieri Mabuchi and Tae Saito.

Also on tap are the Open division, Class A and Class B competitions in the event backed by Champion Infinity, Eva Air, San Miguel Corp., Metro Pacific, Atty.
