Angelo Que goes for back-to-back titles at Anvaya Cove as new Philippine Golf Tour season begins
Eyes are on Asian Tour veteran Angelo Que, who holds the course record at eight-under 64.

FOCUS is on titleholder Angelo Que as the Philippine Golf Tour season starts with the P3.5 million Anvaya Cove Invitational on Wednesday in Morong, Bataan.

Que set a course-record bogey-free eight-under 64 in the final round to win last year in the inaugural event at Anvaya Cove Golf and Sports Club.

Philippine Open winner Miguel Tabuena, the top money earner on the domestic tour last season, is also seeing action in the 72-hole championship.

Clyde Mondilla, a former PGT winner, and Keanu Jahns head the bumper crop of young guns out to steal the show from the veterans while Q-School topnotcher Toru Nakajima of Japan leads the foreign challenge along with Australia’s Kevin Marques, Koreans Seok Jun Min, Park Jun Hyeok and Kim In Jae, Canada’s Rick Gibson and John Jackson of the US in the event organized by Pilipinas Golf Tournaments, Inc. and backed by Adidas, TaylorMade, Pacsports Phils., Custom Clubmakers, KZG, Sharp and Anvaya Cove Golf and Sports Club.
