Shiv Kapur one stroke clear as Miguel Tabuena, Angelo Que struggle to make up lost ground

Miguel Tabuena comes up with an even par 71 with four birdies and four bogeys.

SHIV Kapur had a quiet two-under 69 on Saturday and will carry a one-stroke lead in to the final round of the Panasonic Open in Chiba, Japan.

Kapur hit back-to-back birdies from No. 15 and stood at nine-under 204, a stroke ahead of Kodai Ichihara, who traded two birdies for two bogeys for a 71.

Filipino golfers Miguel Tabuena and Angelo Que were tied for 42nd at 213.

Tabuena, the reigning Philippine Open champion, and three-time Asian Tour winner Que both fired 71 to stay at even after three rounds.

The young pro Tabuena had a rollercoaster round featuring four birdies and four bogeys, while Que had a quieter day with two birdies and two bogeys.
