Juvic Pagunsan adds a 71 to earlier rounds of 68-67.

JUVIC Pagunsan could not get going in a tough third round, settling for an even-par 71 on Saturday in the Panasonic Open in Chiba, Japan.

The Filipino shotmaker reeled back each time he hit birdies — his bogey on No. 2 after starting with a birdie setting the trend for the round at Chiba Country Club Umesato Course.

He birdied No. 3 only to bogey the fifth hole, traded a birdie on the seventh hole for a bogey on No. 8 and suffered the same on No. 15 after hitting birdie on No. 14.

Pagunsan stood at 7-under 206, three strokes off Jung Gon Hwang of South Korea, who shot a 65.

Mikumu Horikawa shot the day’s best 63 for a share of second at 204 with Prayad Marksaengand Hiroshi Iwata, who shot 67s.

Antonio Lascuna fired a 69 and was in joint 30th at 3-under 210 in the tournament co-sanctioned by the Japan Tour and Asian Tour.
