Juvic Pagunsan takes share of eighth spot in Japan Tour's The Crowns

Juvic Pagunsan adds a 68 to earlier rounds of 65-70.

JUVIC Pagunsan recovered from a tough start to fire a two-under 68 and move into a share of eighth spot in the third round of the Japan Golf Tour’s The Crowns 2017 on Saturday in Nagoya.

The shotmaker from Bacolod bogeyed the first two holes, had a rollercoaster ride mid-round before finishing with two birdies in the final three holes at Nagoya Golf Club Wago Course.

Pagunsan, who had earlier rounds of 65-70, was tied with Ryuko Tokimatsu, who also shot a 68 for a 7-under 203, four strokes off the pace.

Toshinori Muto matched the day’s best 65 for a share of the lead at 199 with Yusaku Miyazato, who carded a 67.

Angelo Que fired a three-under 67, hitting four birdies against a bogey to gain a share of 19th at 207.
