JUVIC Pagunsan suffered a final-hole slipup and finished outside the top 10 on Sunday in the Hong Kong Open on Sunday.
The shotmaker from Bacolod looked set for a strong finish with three early birdies.
But after trading two bogeys for two birdies, Pagunsan suffered a double-bogey on the par-4 No. 18 for a 69.
The 275 total put Pagunsan in joint 14th with, among others, Liang Wenchong of China, who fired a closing 66, and Italy’s Edoardo Molinari, who carded a 71.
Pagunsan bagged €23,728 (around P1.2 million).
Sam Brazel of Australia recovered from two early bogeys with four birdies on the back nine for a 68 and a 267 total, winning by one stroke over Spain’s Rafa Cabrera Bello, who fired a 69.
Brazel pocketed €311,843 (around P16 million).
Miguel Tabuena had carded a closing 72 for a 281 total and a share of 51st spot.
