Justin Quiban arrested a four-bogey slide with two birdies in the last seven holes to salvage a one-over-par 73 and regain his Asian Tour card on Saturday.
Quiban finished the grueling five-round qualifying on 14-under, good for a tie for third spot.
Starting the day with a one-stroke lead, Quiban birdied the third hole but stumbled with bogeys on 4, 8, 9 and 10 to go 3-over for the day. Birdies on 12 and 18 enabled the Filipino to improve his standing.
Kristoffer Broberg of Sweden closed with a 66 to top the final stage of qualifying on 18-under, two shots ahead of Japanese Shogenji Tatsunori who carded a 67.
Tied with Quiban were Australian Justin Warren and Spaniard Carlos Pigem.
The top 35 finishers earned their tour cards.
Sean Ramos finished in a tie for 39th on 5-under following a closing 70.
