TONY Lascuna fired a closing 68 to finish in joint 26th in the Chiangmai Golf Classic on Sunday in Thailand.
Lascuna, top money earner on the Philippine Golf Tour last season, had a 10-under 278 total at Alpine Golf Resort, winding up 10 strokes behind winner Scott Hend of Australia.
Hend had a final-round 64 for a 268 aggregate, three strokes clear of South Africa’s Bryce Easton, who also had a closing 64.
Overnight leader Prayad Marksaeng ended up in third place at 16 under with a closing 66.
Jay Bayron closed with a 70 for a 284 total and a share of 50th place, while Elmer Salvador was in solo 57th at 285 after a final-round 74.
Lascuna carded a 69 on Thursday, a 71 on Friday and 70 on Saturday.
Bayron had earlier rounds of 73-69-72, while Salvador scored 74-67-70.
