Bracing herself for a formidable challenge, Harmie Constantino is eyeing her third consecutive victory in the ICTSI Luisita Ladies International 2024, scheduled from April 23-25 at the Luisita Golf and Country Club in Tarlac.
This $100,000 championship boasts a robust international lineup, featuring top talents from the LPGA of Taiwan (TLPGA) alongside skilled competitors from Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Hong Kong.
Fresh from her recent triumph at the ICTSI Caliraya Springs Championship, Constantino, known for her strategic prowess and resilience, is gearing up to tackle both the demanding course and a diverse field of adversaries.
Constantino can compete at highest levels
Her recent performances, characterized by thrilling come-from-behind wins, underscore her ability to compete at the highest levels. Overturning significant deficits, she clinched victory at Rancho Palos Verdes in Davao and staged an impressive comeback to outshine top players on the Ladies Philippine Golf Tour in Cavinti, Laguna.
In her quest for a third consecutive win – and ninth overall – Constantino faces stiff competition from a field brimming with elite adversaries. The lineup at Luisita boasts top players from the TLPGA rankings, alongside a formidable contingent from Thailand and beyond.
The local talent pool is equally formidable, featuring renowned names like Superal, Chanelle Avaricio, Daniella Uy, Mikha Fortuna, Florence Bisera, and Mafy Singson, making the 54-hole tournament one of the season’s most anticipated events.
The TLPGA and the LPGT have a history of collaboration, sanctioning events in each other's territories before the pandemic. Their previous partnership saw LPGA campaigner Bianca Pagdanganan dominate the ICTSI Anvaya Cove Ladies International last year.
