Harmie Constantino adds a 66 to her opening 71 at the Mt. Malarayat course.

AMATEUR star Harmie Constantino carded a six-under 66 on Wednesday to pad her lead to two with one round to play in the ICTSI Malarayat Ladies Classic in Lipa, Batangas.

Constantino hit seven birdies in the last 11 holes for a 137 aggregate, two clear of Thailand’s Saraporn Chamchoi.

“I just got lucky,” said the 15-year-old Constantino, the reigning national champion who is also coming off a victory in the Gary Woodland Championship in Kansas.

Chamchoi submitted at 67. She hit four birdies on the back nine, including on No. 16 to tie Constantino at five-under.

But after the Thai holed out with two pars, Constantino birdied No. 16 to move on top again and went two shots clear with a closing birdie.

Constantino is 18 holes away from becoming the third amateur to win on the pro tour this year after Bernice Olivarez-Ilas topped the ICTSI Beverly Place Classic in April and Yuka Saso dominated the ICTSI Eagle Ridge Invitational in May.
