GOLF will be one of the leisure activies that PBA players can enjoy once they go inside the bubble at the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga.
PBA commissioner Willie Marcial said the league, with the help of the Bases Conversion Development Authority and the Clark Development Corporation, has set up recreational activities for the players during a bubble that could last for as long as two months.
The set-up is similar to that of the NBA bubble inside the Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida.
“Puwede sila mag-golf, water sports, at baka maglagay kami ng mga screens para makapanood sa gabi. Sabi din namin, maglagay ng bilyaran at table tennis,” said Marcial.

There are a couple of golf courses inside Clark in Mimosa and Fontana and it is still unclear what the players can use during the bubble.
Marcial assured that players will be able to play golf as well as other recreational activities under strict health protocols.
“May mga protocols, may sasama sa kanila, maraming gagawin doon,” said Marcial.
PBA chairman Ricky Vargas said the recreational facilities available inside Clark are among the reasons why the sprawling Pampanga facility was chosen to host the bubble beginning on October 9.
“It’s about wellness. [The players] are there for two months of doing nothing but staying in a hotel. The reason we chose Clark was because of the facilities that they have," the TnT board representative said.
"More than that, Clark, the city itself, we can arrange for them to go around the city and do other things that is part of the bubble,” Marcial said.
