YUKA Saso overcame an early slip for a closing 71 on Sunday to top the Nitori Ladies Golf Tournament in Hokkaido.
The Filipina-Japanese golfer notched her second victory in three weeks on the on the Japan LPGA, finishing at 13 under 275 at Otaru Country Club, two strokes ahead of Sakura Koiwai.
Steadying herself after a shaky start, Saso looked set for a breezy finish, but had two bogeys and a birdie on the back nine before making par on the final three holes.
She had carried a one-stroke lead into the final round but slipped with double bogey on the par-4 second hole.
Saso got back to even on No. 6, and moved to two under at the turn.
The 2018 Asian Games gold medalist adds to the title she won in the NEC Karuizawa tournament in Nagano.
Sakura was also two-under at the turn, but had three bogeys in six holes on the back nine before finishing birdie-par for 72.
Kana Mikashima fired a 71 for 285 and joint third with Ji-Hee Lee, who shot a 74, and Mayu Hamada who carded a 76.
