FILIPINA-Japanese golfer Yuka Saso came up with a tournament-best 63 on Sunday to rule the NEC Karuizawa tournament in Nagano.
The Asian Games gold medalist had a near-flawless final round highlighted by an eagle three on No. 16 for a 16-under 200 total.
Saso fired an opening 65 before a second-round 72 in the 54-hole tournament, bagging ¥14,400,000 (around P6.5 million).
The 19-year-old Saso becomes the first Filipina to win on the Japan Ladies Professional Golf Association.

Maiko Wakabayashi had a closing 64 for a share of second spot at 204 with Saiki Fujita, who shot a 66.
