DOTTIE Ardina had a solid closing round in the LPGA Marathon Classic, firing a four-under 67 for a top 20 finish on Sunday in Sylvania, Ohio.
The 26-year-old Ardina had five birdies against a bogey and wound up at six-under 278 for joint 20th with four others. They each bagged US$18,138 (around P890,000).
Danielle Kang made it two straight wins in the LPGA restart as Lydia Ko fumbled on the closing hole and wound up in a tie for second.

Winner of the LPGA Drive On Championship, Kang added the Marathon Classic title to her haul with a closing 68 for a 16-under 269 total and $255,000.
Ko, who started the day with a four-stroke lead, suffered a double-bogey on the closing hole and carded a 73 for a share of second at 270 with Jodi Ewart Shadoff, who fired a 67.
Bianca Pagdanganan, the other Filipina in the final two rounds, had a closing 71, her day again marred by two double-bogeys, for joint 59th at even 284 and $4,125.
