BIANCA Pagdanganan faces a tough closing round as she tries to make up for lost ground in the LPGA Marathon Classic in Sylvania, Ohio.

The Filipina golfer, part of the trio that won Asian Games golf gold in 2018, struggled at Highland Meadows on moving day, firing a 77 on Saturday to slip from joint eighth to a share of 62nd.

A day after firing back-to-back eagles in a 67, Pagdanganan suffered two double-bogeys and ended up at 213.

Former world No. 1 Lydia Ko, out to end a two-year title drought, moved four strokes clear at 16-under with a three-under 68.

Danielle Kang was second after firing a 70 for a 131 total, while Minjee Lee carded a 68 to move to 10-under and a share of third with Jodi Ewart Shadoff, who fired a 73.

Dottie Ardina, the other Filipina in the field, was tied for 49th at two-under after shooting a 69.
