BIANCA Pagdanganan did fine in difficult playing conditions to make the final round of the LPGA Drive On Championship.
The Filipina shotmaker came up with a 73 at Inverness Club on Saturday (Sunday, Manila time) on a day only two players broke 70.
Stronger winds and a wet course made it tougher, but the 22-year-old Pagdanganan managed to hit three birdies, although she suffered two bogeys and a double-bogey.
Pagdanganan rose from joint 48th to a share of 32nd at 147with major winners Anna Nordqvist and Morgan Pressel, among others.
Another Filipina will be playing in the closing round as Clariss Guce shot 73, making three birdies and fou bogeys. She is in a group tied for 43rd at 148, including Jessica Korda and Christina Kim.
Dottie Ardina, however, is out of the final round after a second straight 78.
First-round leader Danielle Kang slipped but managed to hold on for a share of the top spot, firing a 73.
She is tied with Celine Boutier and Jodi Ewart Shadoff at 139.
Boutier carded a 71 and Ewart-Shadoff had a 72.
Sarah Schmelzel fired a 69 for a share of fourth at 141, while Alena Sharp had a 69 after a 78 and was in joint 32nd with Pagdanganan.
