Bianca Pagdanganan made a significant move in the Simone Asia Pacific Cup's second round in Indonesia, barging into the Top 10 with a two-under 70 at the Pondok Indah course in Jakarta.

Despite her impressive performance, she found herself trailing behind Thai golfer Atthaya Thitikul, who dominated with a stunning seven-under 65.

Daniella Uy shoots 73

Daniella Uy struggled in the second round, finishing with a 73 after a gutsy 72 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Pagdanganan showcased her resilience with an early birdie spree on the backside of the course. Despite facing challenges, she recovered with two birdies in the last eight holes, carding a pair of 35s.

With a 143 aggregate, Pagdanganan secured the eighth spot, joining Youmin Hwang of Korea, who rallied with a 68, Japan’s Nasa Hataoka, India’s Diksha Dagar, and Aussie Robyn Choi. However, they all trailed behind Thitikul, who surged ahead with an 11-under 133 haul.

The Philippines' two teams shared the 12th spot with Thailand 1, all posting 294 totals.

Bianca bounces back with 2 birdies

Pagdanganan's round featured birdies on Nos. 11 and 12, compensating for a miscue on the 13th. Despite a setback with three bogeys in the next four holes, she rebounded with birdies on Nos. 2 and 4.

Uy, on the other hand, initially entered the Top 10 with birdies on Nos. 1 and 4 but faltered with a double-bogey on the seventh and a bogey on No. 9.

Dottie Ardina, Uy’s partner in team play, birdied the first hole but struggled with four bogeys in the last 12 holes, finishing with a 75 for a share of 32nd at 149.
