Filipino star Angelo Que hopes to put up a solid start after struggling to find his rhythm last week.

ANGELO Que is looking to bounce back from a tough week as he sees action in the Panasonic Open of the Japan Golf Tour and Asian Tour.

The Filipino player did not make it to the weekend play at the Token Homemate Cup in Nagoya but is confident as the tour goes to Chiba.

The three-time winner on the Asian Tour is set to play his first practice round at Chiba Country Club Umesato Course, and is relishing the challenge.

“I heard it’s a really good track, it’s a very challenging course, I like challenging courses,” said Que.

The ¥150,000,000 event offering ¥30,000,000 (around P12.6 million) starts on Thursday.

Que starts with Jason Knutzon and Akio Sadakata. Former Asian Tour No. 1 Juvic Pagunsan was drawn to play with Junaidi Ibrahim and Daisuke Kataoka.

“Out here in Japan they really tuck the pins… and the greens are really fast so I think that’s the main challenge for the Asian Tour guys,” Que added.
