Filipino shotmaker Angelo Que adds a 71 to earlier rounds of 67-68.

ANGELO Que struggled on the back nine but held on to a share of the lead after the third round of the Japan Golf Tour’s JGT Championship Mori Building Cup Shishido Hills on Saturday in Ibaraki.

The Filipino shotmaker, leader through 36 holes, fired an even par 71 and wound up sharing the top spot at seven-under 206 with Brendan Jones of Australia.

Que had a strong start in the third round, going four under with eagle three on No. 6 and hitting two birdies.

But he slipped on the homeward nine, dropping a shot on No. 10 and suffering a triple-bogey seven on the 17th.

Jones added a 66 to earlier rounds of 67-73.

Shaun Norris of South Africa fired a 68 for a 207 total, sharing third spot with Seungsu Han, who shot a 70.

Brad Kennedy was alone in fifth at 208 after carding a 68.
