ANGELO Que fired a closing 67 to finish tied for ninth in the Heiwa PGM Championship on Sunday ay PGM Golf Resort in Okinawa.
The former Philippine Open champion had earlier rounds of 66-74-70 for a 4-under 277 aggregate in the Japan Golf Tour event.
Que bagged ¥5,240,000 (around P2.4 million) after matching Korea’s Seong-Hyeon Kim and Todd Baek of the US, who both shot 68 in the final round.
Juvic Pagunsan, the other Filipino in the field, carded a closing 76 for a 294 total.
The former Asian Tour top earner finished in 69th spot and bagged ¥438,000 (around P200,000).
Korea’s Ho-Sung Choi finished at 270 after a 67 to take the title, winning by two strokes over Japan’s Shugo Imahira, who shot a 68.
Choi bagged ¥40,000,000 and Imahira pocketed ¥20,000,000.
