ABEGAIL 'Abby' Arevalo embarks on a career-defining campaign when she competes in the Ladies European Tour (LET) as the only Filipina in the 2026 season field.
At a time when the country's other top women golfers are out of the LPGA and struggling to make it back, Arevalo earned her card in Europe when she hopes would be the launchpad of her professional golf career.

The European circuit, which has now expanded its footprint deep into the Asian region, provides a unique global stage for a player whose career has been defined by a strong mental game and triumphs against all odds.
At San Jose State University, she became a cornerstone of the Spartans' success, securing three individual tournament victories and earning All-American honors, a distinction that placed her among the top tier of student-athletes in the US.
Before that, she was a member of the team that clinched the 2019 SEA Games gold medal. She followed this triumph in 2020 by being crowned the Philippine Ladies Open champion, winning by a staggering nine strokes.

Her first major breakthrough came in 2017 when, as an 18-year-old amateur, she won the LPGT event at Riviera with a dramatic birdie on the final hole.
Now Arevalo hopes all that experience will serve her in good stead when she takes on some of the world’s most challenging courses, both in Europe and elsewhere, while competing against an elite field.
Arevalo’s May schedule begins at the Amundi German Masters at the Green Eagle Golf Courses from May 14 to 17, followed by the historic Lalla Meryem Cup at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Morocco from May 21 to 23.
She will conclude the intense three-country swing in France at the iconic Evian Resort for the Jabra Ladies Open from May 28 to 30.
Despite the hectic sked, Arevalo remains connected to her roots and has confirmed that she will return to for key appearances in some LPGT events back home.
Beyond the physical grind of the tour, Arevalo is revolutionizing how golf fans interact with their favorite players by giving them a peek into the daily realities of a touring professional on her official Instagram account @abegailgolf.
This June, Arevalo will also launch her YouTube channel, a project designed to offer an unfiltered, behind-the-scenes look at the technical, emotional, and logistical realities of elite golf.
