WHO DOESN'T love a good April Fools gag?
April Fools Day, while sometimes annoying, can also be one of the best times to see Gaming’s best social media game. They can be witty, eye-catching, and best of all, just plain old fun. Here are some of the best April Fool jokes to hit the internet.
Razer Cthulhu and Razer Skynapse
Razer is back with its April Fools antics with a new product that keeps gamers in their chairs. Meet the Razer Cthulhu, the gaming chair with eight AI-powered arms to cater to every gamer’s needs.
The eight arms are powered by Razer’s new Skynapse AI - there’s a pun in there for the gaming Titos.
Honkai Star Rail’s first Movie??
Honkai Star Rail is joining the April Fools Day fun by unveiling their “first” movie - featuring a giant mech Pom Pom?!
Mihoyo definitely cooked real hard for this year’s April Fools releasing a teaser trailer, and maybe even some planned (but not in production) merch to accompany the film.
Pokemon Sleep Tournament
Pokemon has always had great April Fools gags, in fact, Pokemon Go started from an April Fools Day gag in 2014. This year Pokemon has once stepped up their April Fools Day shenanigans with the very first Pokemon Sleep Tournament.
Hopefully, this tournament catches on, after all, there are great pros in this young scene who are being slept on. (*cue drum and cymbals)
Palworld Dating Sim
Palworld is also doing its own April Fool’s joke, this time launching a Dating Sim featuring some of the game’s Pals (their version of Pokemon).
They’ve also teased an NSFW version which if you’re excited about; I’m sorry you’re not beating any furry allegations.
VCT Pacific auditions
Even esports has gotten in on the April Fools action. VCT Pacific has announced they are holding auditions for Valorant Pro for their first every Boy Group. Still without a name, this seven-member group will be debuting in Stage One of the VCT Pacific, though no specific date yet.
There are a few names on our list who we want to see, but regardless Borkum’s otso-otso has them all beat.
