HAVE YOU EVER wondered what it feels like to build your own museum? Or how about taking control of the National Museums of the Philippines?
Well that experience could be manifested through SEGA's upcoming game Two Point Museum. Like its predecessors Two Point Hospital and Two Point Campus, the game is a business simulation game that casual players will surely enjoy, and it doesn't require some hardcore strategizing compared to SEGA's other simulation game, Football Manager.
Our initial experience has been positive as we take a look at what makes the game standout.

The gameplay offers a lot of variety and entertainment
Players will start off with an empty looking museum and they'll receive their very first exhibit. They also need to hire scholars or experts to travel around the world and look for artifacts or exhibits to brighten up the museum.
But it doesn't just end there as players also need to hire staff members who can run the daily operations of the museum, from ticket selling, housekeeping, repairs and maintenance, security, etc.
Plus there are other factors to consider as players also need to decorate and bring life to the exhibits, and they also need to assess how they can earn revenues from their displays.
The more revenues, the more sustainable the museum is. Failure to do so will force the player to sell some of the exhibits or fire staff members, which could ruin the museum's reputation.
However there will always be external factors that could affect the museum. The explorers who venture into the jungle, the snowy fields, or even the harsh deserts will experience some challenges that could affect their physical and mental well-being. For example, there will be encounters when an explorer will suffer injuries or have their boots filled with tar that could damage the museum.
And it is important to keep them healthy as museum experts are integral in making sure that the exhibits are properly maintained.
But it doesn't just end there as staff members can complain about low wages, plus there could be burglars and thieves who would snatch some key artifacts. In addition, some exhibits may deliver a foul stench that could ruin the experience, or how about a fire suddenly erupting inside.
With so much to consider, at first it was jarring to look through the tutorial screens, but eventually we managed to pull through and enjoy the overall experience. It was fun to build our very first machine and display it to the public, and it was even a blast to see the museum's reputation increase due to the quality of exhibits displayed as well as the feedback from school visits and celebrities.
It also didn't end up as an extremely grindy experience as players end up acquiring important rewards for accomplishing tutorial requests.
And despite the numerous tasks, one wouldn't feel burdened by the level of micro-management needed as the game is extremely approachable.

Exploring the supernatural added more flavor to the game
Eventually players will get a chance to explore the supernatural which has elevated the game's entertainment value.
Imagine a poltergeist running around the museum or having possessed artifacts displayed, plus imagine the experts having the ability to conduct exorcisms, but don't worry you wouldn't feel your skin crawl. There was an exhibit where visitors can levitate alongside furniture which was the coolest thing I've witnessed.
Players will also get to explore the haunted mansions in the Netherworld, and experts could end up inviting spirits both good and bad into the museum so be sure to keep them protected from evil encounters.
And there could be other surprises that await players. Having Yetis and other supernatural or mythical entities serving as museum guests was pretty hilarious, and there could be more joys ahead, especially since players can also establish a marine life museum.

CONCLUSION
Overall there's a lot of excitement while playing Two Point Museum and based on our experience, it feels like a game that is perfect to de-stress after a long grindy day.
It's a business simulation game that encourages players to strategize and assess their decisions, which seems daunting in nature, but Two Point Museum adds a plethora of ways to make it an enjoyable experience. You'll surely be motivated to run a museum and unleash your inner Indiana Jones.
The physical rendition of the game will release on March 4, 2025 for the PS5, and the digital copies for PS5, Xbox, and Steam will be available on the following day.
And if you're totally convinced, players can pre-order and purchase the Digital Explorer Edition on February 28, 2025. The perks of pre-ordering the game include Sonic the Hedgehog in-game rewards, an exclusive map, explorer cosmetics, and a five day advanced access.
