FILIPINO PROFESSIONAL street skateboarder, Margielyn Arda Didal will now make her official video game debut as she will be included in the roster for the upcoming sports game, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4.
Didal was even interviewed on the spot, where she revealed her idols in the sport, who are also included in the game's official roster.
Among them is female skateboarder, Leticia Bufoni, a multi-awarded gold medalist in the Summer X Games scene.
"When I started skating I looked up to Nyjah (Huston) and Leticia (Bufoni). Leticia was like one of the top skaters at that time and even now," Didal said.
Didal has been one of the most renowned Filipina street skateboarders who finished 7th in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo and earned a gold medal in the 2018 Asian Games and 2019 Southeast Asian Games. Her feats cemented skateboarding in Philippine sports.
Besides revealing her idols, Didal even gave some important tips to kids who aspire to follow her path.
"My advice to other kids, just try skateboarding or like even other sports, just have fun and don't forget why you started."
She is also thrilled to be included in the game saying: "I'm excited to be in the game and other people to use me in the fun game."
With her involvement, Didal is hoping that she could further reach into the hearts of the skateboarding community in the Philippines. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 will be available to play on July 11, 2025 for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (courtesy of Battle.net and Steam).
The game is developed by Iron Galaxy with Activision as the Publisher.
