ASSASSIN'S CREED has been around numerous timelines across the world.
From the age of vikings, crusaders, American Revolution, Ancient Greece, and now with their latest installment, the series will be set in feudal Japan.
Ubisoft recently published a trailer about their latest game, Shadows
Like in the previous installments, namely Origins, Valhalla, and Odyssey, two characters will headline the game. In Shadows a male samurai named Yasuke will team up with a female shinobi named Naoe.
Besides the official trailer, Ubisoft likewise dug deep into the backstories of the characters where Naoe hails from a farm village in the province of Iga, known for their ninjutsu arts.
Meanwhile, Yasuke is a Samurai hailing from Africa, who serves under Oda Nobunaga.
Together they'll be involved in the civil war during the Sengoku Period. The two characters have varrying fighting styles with Naoe being more focused on stealth while Yasuke relies on his brute strength and swordsmanship.
And like the other games, Shadows will also highlight key moments in history such as the Portuguese Trade in Japan, which in turn led to the use of firearms.
Assassin's Creed Shadows will release on November 15, 2024 and it will be available on Amazon Luna, macOS, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.
