FORCED to play on short rest, weary Kaya and Pachanga-Diliman plunge back to action on Tuesday night and face separate opponents in the United Football League at the Emperador Stadium in Taguig.
After settling for a draw last Saturday, Kaya and Pachanga return to the pitch just three days later against Green Archers United and Loyola Meralco, respectively.
Fourth-running Kaya faces the eighth-ranked Archers at 7:30 p.m., while Pachanga collides with the third-running Sparks at 5:15 p.m.
“Bit disappointed with the scheduling. When you got no Cup matches, there’s no reason why a team should play three days later. But we have to play with the cards that have been dealt,” Kaya coach David Perkovic said. “We’ll freshen up and we’ll make sure we’re ready for that game.”
Kaya is set to face an Archers side that is raring to bounce back from a 4-3 defeat at the hands of Stallion last Thursday.
Pachanga, on the other hand, is expected to have a tough time against the Sparks, who are coming off a 10-1 ripping of Philippine Army Tuesday last week, the most lopsided result in the league so far.
