UNIVERSITY of the Philippines' struggles in the UAAP Women's football continued as it was held to a goalless draw by Far Eastern University on Saturday at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
The result was another devastating blow for the defending champions, winless in three games.
The Lady Maroons absorbed a 1-0 defeat to Ateneo in their opener before dropping a 2-1 decision last week to La Salle in a rematch of last year's finals.
The Lady Tamaraws are likewise on a funk after back to back defeats, the first a 2-1 loss to UST and a 4-3 loss to Ateneo.
UP and FEU sit at the bottom of the table, each with only one point in the five-team tournament.
The Lady Maroons look to end their dry spell when they face the University of Sto. Tomas Tigresses next week, while the Lady Tamaraws will not see action until March 11 when they battle powerhouse La Salle.
