JP Voltes and GLOBAL FC posted lopsided victories to gain the early lead in the United Football League on Saturday at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Voltes, the Japanese-loaded squad, blanked Nomads SC, 5-0, before Global hammered out an even more dominant win with an 8-0 shutout of sister squad Laos FC to gain the 1-2 spots in the standings with six points each and Voltes leading on goal difference.
