GLOBAL FC blanked Stallion FC, 2-0, on Wednesday night at the Rizal Memorial Stadium to book the first ticket to the United Football League Cup final.

The former Cup winners banked on two goals in the first half to prevail over the Stallions and make their first appearance in the final since 2012.

Serbian defender Milan Nikolic unlocked the Stallions’ defense 29 minutes into the match before Cameroonian defender Serge Kaole doubled the lead two minutes before stoppage time.

Global will meet either Ceres-La Salle or Kaya FC in the final on April 16, Wednesday.
