UAAP juniors football matches have been called off due to continuous rains on Saturday that rendered the Moro Lorenzo Football Field in Quezon City unplayable.
Far Eastern University-Diliman was to take on Ateneo, and De La Salle-Zobel was to play University of Santo Tomas on what was supposed to be the final day of the first round. The matches will be played on Jan. 16.
The league is now on a holiday break and will resume action on Jan. 9 with the second round hostilities of juniors basketball tournament at the Filoil Flying V Arena.
The Baby Tamaraws are on top of the table with six points, while the Junior Archers and the Blue Eaglets are level with three points, while the Tiger Cubs remain without a point.
