TICKETS to the Asean Football Federation Suzuki Cup semifinals first leg between the Philippines and Singapore on Saturday at the Rizal Memorial Stadium are nearly sold out.

Philippine Football Federation communications head Ebong Joson said that as of 11 p.m. on Wednesday night, only 350 grandstand tickets, mostly from the P1,000 (side upper grandstand) section, and less than 1,400 behind-the-goal bleacher seats from the P300 (blue and green bleachers) section are still available.

Joson added that only few P3,000 (central lower grand stand) and P2,000 (side lower grandstand and center upper grandstand) tickets are still in the market ahead of the historic match at the historic venue, which has a seating capacity of more than 13,000.

He added that the P500 tickets (white bleachers, right across the grandstand) are "absolutely sold out."

The remaining tickets can be purchased at Ticketworld outlets or the PFF office.

However, the PFF issued an email on Wednesday clarifying that tickets purchased at Ticketworld or online are only "game ticket reservations" and should be exchanged for official game tickets at the match venue (on Saturday) or at the PFF office (from December 4-7).
