IT’S back to training for a few members of the Philippine women’s football team following the historic victory on Sunday night in the 2022 AFC Women’s Asian Cup.

Head coach Alen Stajcic supervised the team’s training on Monday of the reserves and players who didn’t see action during the quarterfinal match against Chinese Taipei.

Those who played on Sunday, on the other hand, had a recovery session.

The Filipina footballers won that game in penalties, 4-3, to seal a place in the 2023 Fifa Women’s World Cup with a victory over Chinese Taipei. But with the World Cup spot sealed, the Philippines’ campaign in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup continues as it faces Korea on Thursday.
