TWO weeks to go and Azkals manager Dan Palami looks to raise the intensity of training for the match against Uzbekistan in the second phase of the Asian qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup.
“We need to work doubly hard to get a result against Uzbekistan,” said Palami.
The Azkals look to score their third win in as many matches as the battle the top-ranked team in Group H.
Kickoff is at 8 p.m. on Sept. 8 at the Philippine Stadium in Bulacan.
The Azkals beat Bahrain 2-1, before blanking Yemen 2-0.
