STALLION FC and Kaya FC posted lopsided wins on Tuesday night to stay in the middle of the pack of the United Football League at the Rizal Memorial Stadium
The Stallions trampled Forza, 4-1, while Kaya didn’t even have to break sweat as it beat Agila by default that resulted in a 3-0 decision.
Terrence Linatoc, Balot Doctora, Fitch Arboleda, and Joshua Beloya struck for the Stallions, who strengthened thieir grip on fifth spot with 19 points in 10 matches, while Kaya followed suit in sixth place with 18 points in the same number of matches.
Forza stayed in eighth spot with seven points, while Agila was stuck in second to last spot with four points after suffering its eighth setback in 10 outings.
After Linatoc opened the scoring 22 minutes into the match, Forza equalized thanks to a penalty conversion by Hayato Aoki in the 41st minute.
But it was all Stallion in the second half as Doctora gave them the lead for good three minutes after intermission, before Arboleda and Beloya found the back of the net in the 62nd and 70th minute, respectively.
