LA Liga hailed United City FC for capturing the 2020 Philippines Football League crown as well as the league itself for staging a bubble season during the pandemic.
In a social media post, La Liga congratulated United City after claiming the league crown by winning four of its five matches in the compressed season.
Spain’s top flight football league also commended the effort of the PFL for its efforts to restart the sport in the country amid the global COVID-19 pandemic.
