MAHARLIKA FC is now Maharlika Manila FC following the club’s partnership with the City of Manila.
The club held a courtesy call with Manila mayor Isko Moreno where the partnership with the LGU became official.
The club will carry the Maharlika Manila FC name in the coming season of the Philippines Football League brought to you by Qatar Airways.

Club founder Anton Del Rosario, head coach Roxy Dorlas, and Misagh Bahadoran were present in the courtesy call with Moreno to discuss the partnership.
“Manila and the Maharlikas go way back in Philippine history. It is with great intent that our club will help steer Philippine football towards the right direction in the future. The partnership with the City of Manila is a dream come true,” said Maharlika Manila FC general manager Choy Calungsod.
Simon Greatwich, Jerry Barbaso, David Basa, Charlie Beaton, and Spanish defender Joaquin Cañas are some of the players that Maharlika Manila FC has picked up over the past weeks.
