Undermanned Kaya FC has no problem disposing of Pachanga-Diliman in UFL

Jul 12, 2015

A KAYA FC side that went a man down in the second half still proved too good for Pachanga-Diliman, rolling to a 4-1 victory to stay within striking distance of the top spot in the United Football League on Saturday night at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Tishan Hanley struck a hat-trick for Kaya, which went down to 10 men after Louis Clark picked up a straight red card four minutes before first-half stoppage time following a scuffle with David Cortina.

The development hardly mattered as Hanley broke a deadlock with an inside incursion four minutes later, before completing his three-goal effort with a strike in the 61st minute.

Kaya hiked its point total to 28 after 13 matches to move five points behind pacesetting Ceres-La Salle, which, however, still has a game on hand, while Pachanga remained in eighth spot with 11 points after 14 outings.

Loyola Meralco moved just behind Kaya on goal difference after dumping Stallion, 3-1, in the nightcap.
