BROTHERS Manny and Mike Ott have joined their Ceres-Negros FC teammates after signing with the United City Football Club (UCFC).
The Fil-German midfielders signed with the club on Thursday as UCFC continued to sign players from the Ceres-Negros FC, which transferred its ownership of the Philippines Football League club to UCFC.
Azkals midfielder Stephan Schrock, Spanish striker Bienvenido Maranon, and OJ Porteria are some of the Ceres-Negros FC players who also joined the new owners to play for UCFC.
“We are happy to announce that two more former players have signed on to play for United City Football Club this season,” said UCFC co-founder Eric Gottschalk. “Both Manny and Mike bring a tremendous amount of experience on the club and international level to the team and this will be instrumental in our pursuit to defend the PFL title and to progress from the AFC Cup Group stages in September in Vietnam.”
The 28-year-old Manny Ott has been with the senior national team since 2010, with Mike joining the Azkals as well in 2016.

Gottschalk said the club is not yet done with their signings and complete the cast that will also represent the country in the AFC Cup.
“These two are not our final signings for the upcoming season with 4 more players to be announced shortly,” said Gottschalk.
