BIENVE Marañon is staying with United City FC, the club announced on Wednesday.
The Spanish striker is one of the 13 players who will be returning to the Philippines Football League champion squad for the coming season as they compete not just for the second domestic league crown but also in the coming AFC Champions League.
“The best is yet to come,” Marañon wrote on his Instagram account.
Also returning for UCFC are Mike Ott, Hikaru Minegishi, Arnie Pasinabo, Jun Badelic, Angelo Marasigan, Cholo Bugas, Sean Kane, and Jordan Jarvis.
The club has yet to announce the other returning players.
Marañon wishes to join the Philippine Azkals and is seeking naturalization.
