CERES Negros F.C gets a huge boost entering the maiden season of the Philippines Football League as star midfielder Stephan Schrock returns to the club more than a week before kickoff.

Schrock is back for the Busmen after spending time with 2.Bundesliga club SpVgg Greuther Fürth where he had 42 appearances.

The Fil-German had an earlier stint with the Negros powerhouse last year on loan, playing 17 games and scoring 18 goals. SpVgg Greuther and Schrock mutually agreed for a release in the second week, opening the door for his return to the Philippines.

The team officially confirmed Schrock's return on Thursday afternoon in their official website before Schrock posted a picture of him in a Ceres uniform in his Twitter account with a caption of "look who's back!!" much to the excitement of Ceres fans.

Schrock will be available for the opener in the PFL as Ceres visits Kaya Makati FC in UMAK on May 6.  Schrock will also be available for Ceres in the AFC Cup assuming the Busmen go through to the zonal semifinals.

They play their final away game in Singapore on May 3 against the Tampines Rovers. A win there would assure them of a spot in the next round.
